Discover the magic of sourdough in this welcoming, hands-on beginner workshop designed for brand-new bakers or anyone looking to build a strong sourdough foundation.

In this workshop, you’ll learn every step of the sourdough process. You'll mix and fold in class and watch a demonstration of shaping. We'll go through the process of cold proofing and baking.

You’ll also feed a live sourdough starter during class and take home your own thriving jar of wild yeast so you can continue your baking journey with confidence.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to bake sourdough but didn’t know where to start. You’ll leave with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to create bakery-quality loaves at home.

Hands-on instruction for crafting your first sourdough batard
Guided mixing, folding, shaping, and scoring techniques
Active sourdough starter to feed & take home
Banneton basket, dough scraper, spatula, tea dough towel, and lame (scoring tool)
