TRICK OR TREAT BAGS: Bags are available in Cotanchobee Park while supplies last, starting at 3:45 PM
TREATS: One item per child in costume, while supplies last
Host a Treat Station at Riverwalk Trick or Treat!
Looking for a fun and engaging way to connect with thousands of local families? Join us for one of Tampa’s favorite fall traditions by hosting a treat station along the Tampa Riverwalk! Businesses, organizations, and community partners are invited to participate by handing out candy, giveaways, or promotional items to the thousands of costumed kids and families who attend this free community event.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your brand, meet potential customers face-to-face, and be part of a magical Halloween experience along the waterfront. Spots fill quickly, so don’t wait—sign up below to reserve your treat station today!
DATE/TIME
Saturday, Oct. 25th from 4-7pm (setup at 2pm)
MATERIALS PROVIDED BY FoR
(1) 6' table, (2) chairs
TREATS
Please provide candy (any form of treat approved by FoR*) for at least 6,000 children.
DECOR
Participating company or group is encouraged to dress up and decorate their treat station.
STAFFING
Participating company or group will need at least two staff members for the noted time frame. Staff are encouraged to dress up.
FEES
To participate as a company or group there is a $650 fee. Fees cover event costs for equipment, city services, EMT, TPD, etc.

Riverwalk Halloween Kids & Pet Costume Contest

Come out and compete for Best Halloween Costume at our Riverwalk Trick or Treat event on Saturday, October 25th. Judges will select their favorite costume in all age groups. Pets that join will also be judged!
Contest Rules
- Assemble a creative, spooky, funny or imaginative costume and wear it on your body.
- All costumes are welcomed; homemade, magically found, simply appear with a flick of a wand or even purchased or rented.
- Keep your costume “G” rated as this is a family event.
- Parents are welcome to walk with children/pets on stage during judging.
Age groups
- 0-3 years old
- 4-6 years old
- 7-9 years old
- 10-12 years old
- Small & Large Pets
Line-up
- Located at Cotanchobee Park near the Marriott Water Street Hotel.
- Participants will then parade with their age group to the stage at the time listed below.
- Participants will then walk the stage during the contest!
Age Group 0-3:
- Line Up at 5:10 PM
- Take Stage - 5:15 PM
Age Group 4-6:
- Line Up at 5:20 PM
- Take Stage - 5:25 PM
Age Group 7-9:
- Line Up at 5:30 PM
- Take Stage: 5:35 PM
Age Group 10-12:
- Line Up at 5:40 PM
- Take Stage: 5:45 PM
Small & Large Pets:

Riverwalk Trick or Treat wouldn’t be possible without the help of amazing volunteers. From handing out candy to guiding families through the fun, volunteers play a huge role in creating a safe, festive, and family-friendly Halloween along the Riverwalk. Join us for a few hours and be part of one of Tampa’s favorite holiday traditions — costumes and smiles encouraged!
