The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 97th Oscars® will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Tampa’s majestic movie palace is proud to bring the best of new, independent, limited-release and foreign-language films to our community so you have the opportunity to see Oscar-winning films on the big screen throughout the year.

And Bay-area film fans are invited to come toast the nominees and celebrate the winners together at Tampa Theatre’s 26th annual Hollywood Awards Night, presented by Amalie Oil Company.

Join the Red Carpet Reception, starting at 5:30pm under the historic Franklin Street marquee. After a limo ride around the block courtesy of long-time event sponsor Skyline Limousine, our superstar guests will walk the red carpet past adoring fans and the flashing lights of the paparazzi, and chat about who they’re wearing with our red-carpet emcees.

Inside, there will be games, prizes, free popcorn and soda, the OSCAR® Red Carpet Live pre-show on the big screen, and a cash bar. ABC’s live coverage of the 97th annual Academy Awards® begins at 7:00pm.
