Paver Stories: Meagan & her "Framily"

Meagan’s paver was a surprise gift from her framily, her amazing friend group that she holds as family. In 2023, Meagan moved to Tampa Heights and started running regularly on the Riverwalk. Meagan and her friends had met through USF, and as a USF employee and diehard Bulls fan, Meagan’s framily gifted her the paver that now lies in USF Park, right in front of the Bull statue! When Meagan goes on her frequent Riverwalk runs, she always ensures she goes out of her way to step on her paver as a power-up and happy reminder of her framily and love for the city. 

Paver Stories: Jessica and Jay

Jessica bought her very first home in Tampa in 2020. Wanting to renovate her condo, Jessica was introduced to Jay, who owned his own contracting business. They spent lots of time together as Jessica was a meticulous person who also wanted to contribute to her own home renovation. As they spent more time together building a beautiful stone wall in her condo together, their friendship blossomed through common interests, shared time, and admiration for each other. That friendship evolved into a beautiful romance. Jessica and Jay tied the knot on October 27, 2024, and their gracious friend Mel bought them their paver as a memorable wedding gift. Their love story is now beautifully captured and symbolized on the Tampa Riverwalk!
