Black Love Classics Series
There is a special kind of magic that happens when a community comes together to share a story. Born in 2022 through a heartfelt partnership with the City of Tampa and Tampa Theatre, our Black Love Classics Series began as a celebration of romance at the intersection of Valentine’s Day and Black History Month.

Today, that love has grown to incorporate various film genres. This year, we invite you to join us for “At the Heart of It All,” a series that explores the choices we make and the powerful ripples they create. Presented by Tampa Electric (TECO), these screenings are a testament to the beauty of representation and the enduring power of film.

Click the film image below for more information about each title, or click the show time to purchase tickets.

The Black Love Classic Movie Series is presented by Tampa Electric (TECO) in collaboration with the City of Tampa’s Community Engagement & Partnerships Department. Post-show Film Talks are sponsored by Hungry Bull Productions and the Restaino Family Foundation. Promotional support provided by WEDU PBS.
