X-WR-CALDESC:HarpSound Live presents Harmony Winds: Legacy\, which examines
five generations of gospel music through the history and performances of
a Tampa family whose musical tradition has continued across decades.\n\nTh
e program traces the family’s development from the Singing Sisters\, an ea
rly a cappella group founded by Ethel Pittman with her sister Bertha and f
riend Annie Lou\, through church choirs and the Maranatha Singers\, establ
ished as a performing group by 1979. Later generations expanded the family

s and developing new ensembles. Today\, younger members continue that work
through groups including the Tampa Boyz\, Simply Redeemed and Voices of H
