Holiday Lighted Boat Parade

Tampa’s largest lighted boat parade will happen the Saturday before Christmas, December 17, 2022, along the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa. The parade begins at the southern tip of Davis Islands, travels through the Convention Center basin and up to the Heights where the boats will turn around and head to Sparkman Wharf where judging will occur and the parade will end. Judges are pairs from Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the sailboat and motorboat competitions will each receive a trophy.  All registered boats will receive prizes!

Thank you to our 2021 Sponsors

Without the support of our event sponsors, the holiday lighted boat parade would not be possible.

Thank you to our presenting boat parade sponsor Freedom Boat Club!  And a huge thanks to Yacht StarShip for hosting the Captain's Party and to Pirate Water Taxi for leading the parade again this year.  Let's not forget the Captain's Party beer sponsor, Florida Avenue Brewing.

We would be remiss if we forgot to thank the businesses who donated prizes for our boaters this year: Columbia Restaurant Group, Florida Aquarium, Jotoro, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, Lost Pearl, Marriott Water Street Hotel, Plant Museum, Pirate Water Taxi, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Sports Commission, Tampa Museum of Art, Splitsville, Yacht StarShip, Zoo Tampa
