
Future of the Tampa Riverwalk
The southern section of Tampa’s Riverwalk is complete connecting the Florida Aquarium and Channelside Bay Plaza to the History Center, Marriott Waterside, the Sail Pavilion, Convention Center and USF Park.
A northern section of the Walk is also complete linking Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, home of the Tampa Museum of Art and the Glazer Children’s Museum, north to the Straz Center.
A fund raising campaign continues to underwrite the construction of the mid-section’s two final phases connecting USF Park to MacDill Park and continuing north from MacDill Park to Curtis Hixon Park.

The northern most section of Tampa’s Riverwalk will connect the Straz Performing Arts Center with the Heights of Tampa, a mixed use development in the initial stages of construction. The Heights of Tampa will develop this northern section of the Riverwalk along Waterworks Park. To learn more about the Heights of Tampa click:
